Terms of Service

1. Who you are dealing with

Detos UI is operated by [legal name], [tax ID], at [registered address], reachable at [contact email]. Throughout this document, "we" means that operator and "you" means the person using the service.

2. What Detos UI actually does

Detos UI takes a single colour and produces a written specification — a prompt — for a component library. You then run that prompt yourself, in your own WeWeb project, using your own AI subscription. We do not build the components for you, we do not host them, and we do not consume your AI quota: that quota is between you and whoever provides your AI plan. If your quota runs out mid-build, the specification is designed to be resumed, but we cannot restore or extend it.

3. Your account

You need to confirm your email address before you can accept an invitation or invite anyone else. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself; we never ask for it and we never see it, because only a hash of it is stored.

One account is one session. Signing in on a second device ends the session on the first one. This is deliberate: it is what keeps a single account from being shared as if it were several, and it is enforced by the service, not by a promise.

4. Plans, limits and price

Today there is one plan and it is free. We take no payment, we hold no card details, and there is nothing to cancel. The whole component catalogue is included; nothing in it is held back for a paid tier.

The free plan carries limits on how many workspaces you can own, how many projects a workspace can hold, and how many people can join it. The current numbers are shown inside the app, and being invited into somebody else's workspace never counts against your own limits. If we ever introduce a paid plan, we will not move anything you already have behind it without telling you first and giving you time to decide.

5. What is yours

Your projects, your palettes, your token values and the specifications generated from them are yours. You may use them in your own work and in work you are paid for, including work for clients, with no attribution required and no licence fee. We claim no ownership over the interfaces you build, and we will not use your project contents to promote Detos UI without asking you first.

6. What is ours

The catalogue itself — the component specifications, the token system, the accessibility rules and this website — stays ours. The line is simple: build whatever you like with the output, but do not repackage the catalogue and sell it as a competing component library, and do not extract it in bulk by automated means.

7. Fair use

Do not try to break into other people's workspaces, do not attempt to get around the plan limits, and do not use the service to build something unlawful. We may suspend an account that does any of these, and we will tell you why when we do.

8. Workspaces with more than one person

A workspace has an owner, and the owner decides who else can see and change what is inside it. If you join somebody else's workspace, the other members can see your name, your email address and your avatar, and everything you create in that workspace belongs to the workspace, not to you personally. If you leave or are removed, that content stays. An owner cannot leave a workspace without handing ownership to someone else first.

9. Deleting things, and the 30 days

Nothing is destroyed the moment you delete it. A deleted project, an archived workspace and a closed account all go into a 30-day window during which you can undo it. After that window a daily job removes them for good, and at that point we cannot get them back for you. If you want something gone sooner than 30 days, write to us.

10. Availability, and what we do not promise

This is a free service and it comes with no uptime guarantee. It may be unavailable, it may change, and features may be removed. We keep backups to the extent our own hosting provides them, which today does not include point-in-time recovery — so if your work matters to you, export it. We will give notice before shutting the service down, and we will make your data exportable before we do.

11. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law where you live allows it, we are not liable for lost work, lost time or lost income arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by agreement, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected. 12. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. If a change materially affects what you can do or what we may do with your data, we will tell you by email rather than leaving you to notice.
